Privacy and cookies
Clipworks (getclipworks.com) is run by Behzad Hosseini. Questions about your data: [email protected].
What you send us
When you use the form we receive your name, email, podcast or channel, the plan you picked, your phone number if you give it, your message and the country your connection comes from. We use them only to reply, send your free clips and set up your plan. We keep them while we work together and for up to two years after our last contact, then delete them. Ask us at any time and we will delete them sooner.
Analytics
We measure how the site is used with our own analytics (webstats, on Cloudflare) and Google Analytics 4. They record the pages you view, clicks, form sends, how long you stay, your browser and device, your IP address and the approximate location it gives (city and country), and where you came from. Google Analytics keeps its data for 14 months; our own records are kept to understand how the site performs. Besides the cookies below, our analytics keeps the same visitor id and your opt-out choice in your browser's local storage (ws:vid, ws:optout, ws:internal).
| Cookie | Set by | What it is for | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| _wsv | webstats | A random visitor id, so repeat visits count once | 2 years |
| _wss | webstats | The current visit (session) | 30 minutes |
| _wso | webstats | Remembers that you switched analytics off | 2 years |
| _wsi | webstats | Marks our own browsers so we don't count ourselves | 1 year |
| _ga, _ga_<id> | Google Analytics | Google's visitor and session ids | Up to 2 years |
